The Director of the Republic agency for the peaceful settlement of labor disputes, Mile Radivojević, attended the 96th regular session of the Social and Economic Council on Friday, May 22, 2020, in Belgrade. The session was chaired by the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans' Affairs and Social Affairs, Zoran Đorđević, and the highest representatives of the social partners were present. After the adoption of the Work plan of the Social and Economic Council for 2020, the representatives of the state administration bodies informed the attendees about the measures taken during the state of emergency and the measures that will be taken in the following period. Mr. Radivojević also addressed the audience, emphasizing that the work of the Agency was harmonized with the Government's recommendations and the development of the epidemiological situation, and citizens and service users were informed about all of the above through an online presentation and emergency telephone numbers and e-mail addresses were provided. During the state of emergency, 57 new proposals for peaceful settlement of labor disputes were submitted to the Agency, legal advice was provided by telephone, via the "SOS Mobbing" emergency line and e-mail in 208 cases, and 36 arbitration proceedings were resolved and over 50 different acts were made. However, during the state of emergency, epidemiological measures were respected and there was no admission of parties to official premises and direct contacts. He pointed out that in the following period, the Agency will adhere to epidemiological recommendations.
